new recipe month!

As promised, I plan on trying all new recipes this month. No going back to the oldies but goodies in a pinch. Although, I don't think spaghetti (when made with the leftover sauce in the fridge) should count against me. I mean, I can't just waste the sauce!

So this week's menu includes:

Wonton Soup
Fettucini Alfredo
Chicken Empanadas
Spinach Pesto Pasta w/Shrimp

(J also picked out the stuff to make Sun-dried tomato, spinach & feta wraps - trying to bring a little Whole Foods to the south, no seriously....we miss our Whole Foods)

I'll share the recipes as I go along. I actually don't have definitive recipes for the Wonton Soup or Chicken Empanadas as of yet - but I have found a few I plan to, maybe, combine. We'll see...that's the fun of it!

Of course we had to shop at the Commissary for groceries this week in order to find ingredients like Wonton Wrappers and Pine Nuts, they just don't carry things like that Walmart. (!!!!)

And so another week begins...
